This alone tells me VALVE loves their Fans and Customers. A way to beat piracy. I got myself Left 4 Dead 2 - 4 pack package. And distribute it to my friends as a gift so we can have Zombie killing bloodfest together.
The offer was only online for 2 days. And this was a good promotional tool as well. Nothing says we love you gamers like a big fat 66% discount.
